Undersea Gardens

Learning Intention - WALT skim and scan for information to find out what is in an 'undersea garden.

Undersea garden are all about seaweed and sea life. some seaweed are really tiny and some are really big. the big st seaweed is 70 metres high.  

Kawa of Care Challenge

We are learning all about the kawa of care because we all need to learn to take care of our Chromebooks at school and at home.

Tractor Trek

We wrote a recount about our Tractor Trek experience.

One week ago on Friday there were trackers at our school and my Favorited  tracker was this big lime green one and then my second one was this army car. After a while we meet this nice girl and her name was Cat. She told us about herself when she was a little girl. So she said that she lived  on a farm and she had a good life when she was a little girl. Every day her dad would pick her up on his motorbike and she would go on it and sprint time with her dad and they would go and feed their animals. But  there was one thing that she had that she was scared of  bulls and she thought that the bulls would eat her but she also thought  why would the bulls eat her but she was still scared of the bulls!!! But then they moved to inclined. She was sad because they were moving to  Auckland  and her sister and brothers were mean to her because they would not let her play with them. She was sad and she was more sadder because she was moving . After they moved she started school and she was so excited because she could make new friends at her new school but unfortunately no one wanted to play with her so for hours she had no one to play with. She was very sad and  her feelings got bigger and bigger. It started at a small feeling to a medium feeling to a huge feeling. She was sad all day all day long.

Weekend story

 In the weekend I travelled to this place but I but I do not know what the place was called and when we got there i had to hope on a biscuit because we brought the jet ski and it could not fit us all so me and my brother and my sister went on with me. A while later we were there and me and my brother and my sister wet on the grass with me and because there were not that much room on the jet ski. A while later i went on the weight board and i stood up on it for a long time then i fell off.

Beach Education trip

 On Tuesday we travelled in a bus to Ahipara. When we got there we got into our groups and I was with Mrs Neki.   A while later we went to  the beach and we played a game. It was called sandy monkeys and beach whales. When one of the life guards would say sandy monkeys then you would hop in the sand and get all sandy then if one of the lifeguards would say beach whales then you would get all of the sand off and even we went boogy boarding ,it was amazing. We even learnt about how to keep safe at the beach. If you are in trouble then you put your hand up. Another thing is you always wear a hat and some glasses and you always swim between the flag so if you need some help then the lifeguards would see you and you always need to be a arm reach to a kid.  Then we went back to school.

Camp

On Wednesday we are going to Coopers Beach for camp. It is going to be so much fun there. We are going to play some hockey and we even are going on the water slide. For breakfast we are having some toast and beans and all kinds of stuff and we are even going paddling I think some people are going to fall off and I think that I will fall off too. At Coopers Beach we even slept there too. We even had to sleep in different dorms too. The girls will sleep in one room then the boys will sleep in the another room and one night we all watched a movie.
